Counselling specific to your situation

Helping you to navigate life stages

You don’t have to face challenges alone—I’m here to help. Together, we’ll explore patterns, improve communication, and set healthy boundaries, fostering resilience and confidence along the way.

  • Pregnancy brings many changes, and it’s common to feel disconnected from your body despite the talk of a “pregnancy glow.”

Postnatal depression affects 1 in 7 new mothers in Australia, often leaving women feeling overwhelmed and struggling to adjust.

I offer a supportive space to explore your feelings and navigate the challenges of motherhood.

  • With evolving gender roles and increasing equality, more women are pursuing higher education and building professional careers. While these changes are empowering, challenges such as workplace discrimination and sexual harassment persist.

I provide a safe, non-judgmental space where you can openly explore your experiences.

Your ambitions deserve to thrive, and I am here to support you every step of the way.

  • In Australia, family violence includes emotional, financial, and psychological abuse—not just physical harm.

You might feel unsure if your situation qualifies as family violence or face relationship challenges from past abuse or betrayal. It's common for survivors to struggle with trust, intimacy, and vulnerability, and co-dependency can arise from losing self-identity and a need to please.

I’m here to help you rebuild confidence, assertiveness, and a sense of control, empowering you to move forward with strength and clarity.

  • Friendships are an essential part of life, but they can also bring unexpected challenges. Whether it’s navigating conflict, outgrowing old friendships, feeling excluded, or struggling to build meaningful connections, friendship issues can impact your emotional wellbeing.

Whether you’re rebuilding a relationship or moving on, I’ll help you reflect on what matters most to you in your friendships.

You deserve supportive, fulfilling connections, and I am here to guide you in strengthening your friendships—or making peace with necessary changes.

  • Grief can be overwhelming, whether from loss, relationship endings, or life transitions like miscarriage or career changes. Women often carry the added weight of balancing personal grief with supporting others.

I offer a judgment-free space to explore your emotions and unique grief journey. Together, we’ll honour your loss, build resilience, and help you heal at your own pace. You don’t have to face this alone—healing starts with support.

  • When children grow up and leave home, many caregivers—especially mothers—find themselves feeling a bit lost. After years of prioritising the needs of others, it’s easy to lose touch with your own identity, leaving you wondering, “What now?”

I offer a supportive space to help you reconnect with yourself. Here, you can express your concerns, worries, and fears, while being guided to rediscover your passions, dreams, and sense of purpose.

This next chapter of life is an opportunity for renewal, growth, and self-discovery—and I am here to walk alongside you every step of the way.

  • Medicare rebates are not available for my counselling services, and you don’t need a referral or a mental health care plan from your GP to book an appointment.

I’ve thoughtfully designed my pricing to be as affordable as possible, reflecting what you might pay if a Medicare rebate were applied. My goal is to make quality counselling accessible and supportive for everyone.

Understanding how the Medicare system works (in Australia or similar systems overseas) is essential to making informed choices. Our counselling services are not eligible for the Medicare rebate, however, this allows us to provide greater flexibility, privacy, and tailored support without the need for a referral or limitations on the number of sessions.

    • Mental Health Care Plan (MHCP): Once created, it remains on your health record permanently, potentially affecting areas such as life insurance, income protection or overseas travel insurance requirements.

      MHCP effect on Employment

    • Private Sector: Employers generally do not have access to your medical records. However, if you disclose a mental health condition or make a WorkCover claim, they may request relevant medical information. Discrimination based on mental health is illegal under the Disability Discrimination Act, but unfortunately stigma can still be a concern.

    • Government or High-Security Jobs: For roles requiring medical checks or security clearances, a history of mental health care might be relevant. It may not disqualify you, but you could be asked for further information.

Adoption and Custody Cases - In custody, adoption, or foster care assessments, your mental health history may be reviewed. While having a MHCP doesn’t automatically disadvantage you, the context of your care and current wellbeing can influence outcomes.

Mental Health Care Plans require assessments and ongoing referrals, creating extra steps and potential delays. Therapy sessions are capped and require new referrals after each session pack and many clients face waiting lists to see psychologists or psychiatrists through Medicare.

    • No Referrals Required: Immediate access without needing a GP referral.

    • Quick Availability: Avoid long wait times and receive support sooner.

    • Transparent Costs: Fees are comparable when factoring in Medicare gap fees.

    • Tailored Therapy: We offer an individualised therapeutic approach that suits your unique needs.

    • All fees are listed in AUD, and international payments may incur currency conversion fees.

    • Full payment is required before the session begins.

    • Processing Fees:

      • Stripe: Domestic 1.7% + A$0.30; International 3.5% + A$0.30

      • Square: 1.6%-1.9% per transaction

      • EG. Counselling Fee (domestic) $99 + $1.98 = $100.98

    (international) $99 + $3.77 = $102.77

    Weekend & After-Hours Surcharges:

    After Hours 6pm–9pm & Weekend Appointments: +15% Eg. Counselling Fee (domestic) $99 + $14.85 = $113.85 + Stripe fee $2.24 = $116, (international) $99 + $14.85 = $113.85 + Stripe fee $4.28 = $118

  • I understand that emergencies happen. However, timely notice helps us serve other clients efficiently.
